July - Back Up and Open!

Well June was another lovely month, especially because we had some much needed rain (I never thought I'd hear myself saying that after February's flooding!). The pumpkins are planted now and enjoying the rain and all of my 12 pet lambs are now weaned. The ewes are still waiting to get their winter coats off, Covid-19 has meant the New Zealand shearing gangs haven't been able to travel across this year, so the UK shearers have been in high demand!

My thoughts and time have been spent thinking how we can re-open the B&B and be "Covid-19 Secure". To begin with we will be only opening up one room in the main house (or more than one room if you are in the same family or "bubble"). We are also going to introduce The Garden Room, a suite of rooms with its own separate access. I've done a little B&B down there and it worked well leaving guests a continental breakfast in the fridge, there's a microwave and taster there too, so snacks and meals can be warmed up if you don't fancy going out. I'll provide extra plates and cutlery and can replenish if left out for me. Alternatively you can order a cooked breakfast and I'll deliver it to the door. You can book this room in the same way as normal, through my website or my giving me a call.

Unfortunately because of Covid 19 restrictions I'm no longer able to service your rooms during your stay with us, but if you leave things in the specified areas I can replenish each day for you. You can read more about my covid policies here but if you've any questions or concerns please do get in touch - I'm very happy to chat through anything with you.

David and I are very much looking forward to welcoming you all back to Cundall Lodge Farm - we have missed having guests so hope to see you soon!
