Autumn Farm Life

October into November and the dreaded Christmas word!!

Hello everyone, new and long serving guests.

Well what a month October was! As a lot of you know we now grow a pumpkin patch and I’ve been roped into help! Lots of baking and soup making- pumpkin of course!! The pumpkins have done well again although we would have liked some drier weather to pick them in! David is getting a bit frustrated as he can’t get on the land to drill( sow) wheat for next years harvest. Unfortunately there’s nothing we can do about the weather so we will just have to wait until it dries up a lot!

On Tuesday the 22nd of October I travelled down to Luton to receive a Visit England Rose award. It was a proud moment as only 100 of these awards are awarded each year out of about 13,000 properties that are accessed by Visit England. As a way of celebrating we have decide to do a 3 nights for the price of 2 for our mailing list and Facebook followers. We will run this from the 1st December to 31st March 2020. You can book online or call to make a booking .

So why not join us for a spot of Christmas shopping in November and December? or come along for a relaxing post Christmas break or a romantic February. Or you could even go mad on March. As you know there’s so much to do in this beautiful county of ours!!
