In Autumn of 2009 we won the ‘Welcome to Yorkshire’ Guest Accommodation of the Year for 2009. I’m so proud to win this prestigious award as a Yorkshire girl born and bred its a great honour. It was a total surprise to win as this was the first time I had entered at the insistence of my daughter Tor who is studying Hospitality at York College.
