About the Cundall Lodge Breakfast

At Cundall Lodge we like to use as much locally and home made food as possible. For Breakfast we serve a help yourself buffet to begin with and then we serve a hot breakfast of your choice.

The Buffet: consists of a selection of cereals, a dried fruit compote soaked in apple juice, grapefruit in fruit juice and yogurts and each day there is a breakfast special usually using something seasonal or homemade.  There will be a choice of orange juice and another juice.

The Hot bit is served next with brown and white toast. Homemade marmalade, jam and local honey are on your table.

Teas and Coffee’s: Yorkshire Tea and Lazy Sunday or Fair Trade Columbian coffees are served at breakfast. If you would prefer an alternative, all the hot and cold drinks available in the rooms are available at breakfast too.

Cundall Lodge Breakfast Suppliers

Our bread comes from Havenhands the Bakers in Boroughbridge.

The dried fruits, rhubarb and local fruits, honey, are bought from The Fruit Basket in Boroughbridge an Aladdin’s Cave for foodies.

The organic porridge oats are grown in Bishop Wilton and come from the Newby Hall Farm Shop.
